Lamoiyan Corporation seals partnership with UP Manila College of Public Health to combat head lice infestation

Lamoiyan Corporation Marketing Director Bing Cavestany and University of the Philippines Manila College of Public Health Dean Romeo Quizon officially sealed the partnership for the second time around between Lamoiyan and UP Manila CPH to battle public health concerns such as pediculosis or head lice infestation among schools.

Lamoiyan Corporation, maker of Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo with Conditioning Formula, recently held a donation turnover in celebration of their partnership with the University of the Philippines Manila College of Public Health (UPM CPH) to empower Licealiz Kilusang Kontra Kuto initiative.

UP Manila College of Public Health Dean Romeo Quizon graced the ceremony together with the college’s Executive Committee and Management Team as they received hygiene products from Lamoiyan, including Licealiz, which will be used for the health education projects of the University.

In 2016, Lamoiyan and UPM CPH initially forged a partnership to amplify the nationwide Kilusang Kontra Kuto program with the support of the University’s parasitology experts who helped spread correct information about head lice prevention and proper treatment through health forums and other educational channels.

“UP Manila College of Public Health and its faculty are grateful to Lamoiyan Corporation for this venture and we are looking forward that this partnership will result into more relevant endeavors for public health,” said UP Manila College of Public Health Dean Romeo Quizon.

“Lamoiyan has always been committed to educate the people about public health concerns especially head lice infestation,” shared Lamoiyan Corporation Marketing Director Bing Cavestany. “This partnership has given us the opportunity reach out to more people and strengthen the Kilusang Kontra Kuto initiative.”
